"Heart of Gold" and everybody on this site has one, not just us old long-haired rockers from the 60's and 70's...before the days of disco....those were the days..:D

Neil is one of the greats...along with Stevie Ray, Bob, Eric, Rod...and well, you know who else created the real guts of great music. I would fly anywhere in the world to see this guy -- if he'd just perform.

*old rocker and music lover signing out now*

Heart of Gold is one of my personal old favorites (and I love Stevie-Ray too)
its funny I didnt think of it. Since I was born in the mid 60's , I missed out
on the 60's:confused:If that makes sense...? But I never got over the fact
that I missed all that(Woodstock,San Francisco,Summer of Love)and it
seemed like my friends and I in High School tried to revive it a bit:rolleyes:
So we listened more to the 60's music more than contemporary rock, I mean
does ANYONE even know the names of most 80's rock/pop bands???

I should post the video of Tank's and my Standard agility debut 5 months post OHS, set to Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive".... Our performance was pretty awful, but we got a standing O.
Something about "mending the pieces of my broken heart" strikes a cord (or is it cordai?).
Our Jumpers course was set to the Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive."

My vote goes for both

This is fun and people have all sorts of great ideas. I think were establishing a music playlist on this thread. :D

Okay I dont think anyone put a vote for this one yet..but CSN,and Young's
"Carry On" especially that line '..rejoice,rejoice ,we have no choice but to
carry on...' seems to hit a chord.

Also, while in the hospital , the Ramones' "I Wanna Be Sedated" comes to
mind .

And on a more serious vote; 'My Heart Will Go On' ( the Titanic theme).
=My favorites would be 'Heart of Gold' and 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'Carry On'......I mean there are so many more ,but these 3 are worthy,I think . Too bad Lynn isnt here to give
her thoughts.
