Hi,

Got the news yesterday that the biopsy showed no cancer in the lymph nodes so it looks like Mark's in the clear! Yahoo! This is a tremendous relief, but still a "wake up call" to do what's meaningful and important in life, and to love well and live well.

He's feeling better everyday. Hopefully he'll get the tubes draining his lungs out today or tomorrow and be home soon.

Thanks, again, for all the good wishes.

Wonderful news, Kim. You both must be greatly relieved. Look forward to hearing that he is home soon!

I am home safe and sound.

The surgery did not stray from the procedure that the doctors had laid out ahead of time. Most of this is lung lobectomy stuff and not valve replacement related so I won't elaborate unless someone is asking for more info. Happy to provide, respond to questions etc.

The Doc's say to schedule the AVR and conduit replacement for mid-September, which should give me ample time to recover. in the meantime, I want to stay in touch with my all new VR friends and watch for new personal progress reports, stay abreast with the on-going valve selection debate, etc.

Mostly, I want to say thanks for all the information, support, well-wishes and prayers I have received from this wonderful web site.

Thank you

-Mark
