Hey Everyone!

Happy Wear Red for your Heart Lady Day or whatever we call it! Thought I would take a second to update some of my old friends on vr.com. So many new 'faces' these days!!! I don't know how many of my friends are still around, but I sure hope all is well with each and every one of you!!

I finished up my last chemo two months ago! I feel fantastic! In remission! I can FINALLY experience the overhwhelming joy of a good, healthy heart! (I kind of took a detour post-OHS to see what it's like in the world of Lymphoma. I wouldn't recommend it! ) I feel human again! I feel healthy again!

Started back to work January 8 after being off since the end of March of last year. It's been so rewarding being back in my classroom. I can't begin to tell you what comfort comes with normal routines! The kids have been wonderful.

I have a happy heart and a head full of hair! What could be better??!!!!

Take care everyone!
Debbi :D

Congradulations Debbie. Sounds like 2007 is starting out to be a wonderful year. May it continue for a long time to come.

Debbie

So glad to hear your news, Debbi. No need to tell you to enjoy each and every day- I know you will and send our best wishes for a total remission.

We love good news

Congradulations!! I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I had a mitral valve repair 6/10/03 but ended up with a replacement 12/10/03.I am a regular at cleveland clinic. They are awesome!!! I miss work so much, and I am so glad you got to go back. You seem to be enjoying it. I cannot go back to work but I take one day at a time and thank the good lord every morning I wake up. Best wishes for 2007.

It IS good to hear your positive news. Thank you for thinking of us. Welcome back to normal......I think your detour was one of the bumpier ones we've seen.

Congrats on the remission...enjoy your newfound health!

Way to go, Vols gal!

Hey Deb, that's great! You have battled back -- and won -- over more than most of us have had to face. You are one courageous lady.

Just one question, though: Your hair is not coming back Vols' orange, is it? :D

Cheers,
