I have been in touch with the University Hospital in Sweden that are doing the trials with the new generation mechanical valves(ref. to previous posts).

A second valve has been implanted and the two patients are doing fine some
3 months post-op. 3 more valves are due for further human receivers and
during the autumn a scientific evaluation will take place in order to decide
whether to go for a broader test-group.

So far so good, but a lot remains to be prooved of course.

Will look out for more news and convey asap.

Do they have a name for it yet? If this continues to pan out, this will be wonderful news. Thank you for continuing to research this hopeful crossover valve.

Best wishes,

As far as I have seen it doesn´t have actual name.

I will look out for news from my horizon, but do not expect much news in the coming months as it takes time. As the valve is clicking on in two brave humans, no news is probably good news...!

Keeping you posted,

Martin

New valve in Sweden

I am not sure. For such a potential revolution in the field, silence is intriguing. Hope for the best .
