(Quote)Even St. Jude is anticipating that warfarin will be a thing of the past in 5 years.Bdryer ,where did you read this? I would like to read the article

Al Cap, not sure if you were askign me but my valve p/n is 23AJ-501 and per the St. Jude catalog is the Master Series.
Anybody looking forward to the "new" drug to replace warfarin? Apprehensive? Have not heard much about it. I've got a friend that works for St. Jude and gave me some info on it based on the RE/LY trial group and the drug Dabigatran.

Had St Jude Regent aortic valve and aorta root replacement 4 weeks ago at age 43.
All I want is to minimize the possibillity of another surgery too soon.

The clicking and chest pounding is quite loud.
The surgery was apparently "textbook".
My energy level is great, all the more that that after heart surgery, you strive to live your life more fully than ever.

Cheers,
