Anyone know.....?
Yes. One of my doctors put me on both. Not every doctor will. At one point, is was a recommendation of the AHA, but I haven't checked lately.

what's the question?

I have a mechanical valve, I'm on warfarin , I'm supposed to be taking aspirin, my surgeon put me on it. ... I just haven't been that dilligent about it ... there are no significant issues, one works on platelets (Aspirin) the other works on part of the prothrombin cascade.

Aspirin seems to increase incidence of bleeds generally speaking

I have been on aspirin for years and am also on the warfarin at the same time. I asked my surgeon post surgery and he was alright with aspirin and warfarin used at same time.

I've been on aspirin and coumadin since I left the hospital. The surgeon seemed to think that produced the best results. I wouldn't mind dropping the aspirin just not sure if I should.
