Four years down

It's been too long since I've been here...but I wanted to come by, see how people were doing, and celebrate four good years since my surgery. I had a valve-sparing aortic root aneurysm repair on October 21, 2009. I'm happy to say that I have had zero problems since then; Dr. Edward Chen at Emory University does damn fine work, and I can recommend him to anyone having heart work done in the Atlanta area.

Anyway, it's great to see so many familiar faces still going strong around here. Take care, and I'll be back in a future October!

Congratulations on valversary number 4! Your endorsement of Dr. Chen is good to know. It seems like a lot of new forum members are in the Atlanta area and want to know about other's experiences.
