Murmur detected at a football physical in autumn 1974 when I was 9. Confirmed bicuspid aortic valve in 1981. Just watchful waiting since then, no restrictions on activities, no severe symptoms, ran (slowly!) marathons, etc. Aneurysm found about 2010. June 2017 echo showed severe aortic stenosis. Time to get it fixed!
