I might be showing a LITTLE favoritism here, but you will be in great hands while at UAB. Dr. McGiffin will take real good care of you. The rest of his staff is top notch. The nurses in CICU and recovery are the best. Except for that one who insisted on weighing me between midnight and 2 AM EVERY morning.

One thing I will pass on let them know any fears you may have and they will make sure you are given enough happy juice to get you thru. Also, don?t wait until you are hurting to ask for something, that is what meds are for.
