Ross, you have to stay here. How will I ever be able to post a picture without you? I am glad to see you posting. I count you as one of my friends even though we have never met. I am always telling my husband that Ross said this and that. One day he asked ,who is this ross you keep talking about? Please stay around.

Ross is the best!

I hope that his absence has made a few people reflect on what they've said to him. Probably hasn't, but you never know..

Anyway, I'm so glad you're posting on here again Ross.

I've taken time off to reflect and see if I was really doing any good here at all. You should never douth that!...... Some people weren't getting answered Yes, because when you are around you never miss a beat, Ross, some did, yet pm'd me asking for advice and of course, I answered them, but that is not what this forum is about. It's to share information for others We all need to see your answers on the forum to learn.....
Many of you emailed or pm'd to check up on me and see what the deal was. I think I know who my real friends are and it far exceeds the number of those that would rather me not be here Never ever doubt that. I was to the point of saying some very hurtful things to some people, that as an administrator of this site, I cannot do. We all need to evaluate what were saying and posting because frankly, some things do hurt me Never ever allow this, only I cannot respond back in the same manor. One of the drawbacks to being in the position I am. It's hard to wear many hats, but be able to use only one of them when posting.
......
Ross, welcome back! your advice is invaluable to all of us; and as an aministrator, it is your duty to be able to judge when to say what to keep things in order. I know it is hard, but necessary...I say this out of experience as an ex-officce administrator, and (presently a home-administrator:D)

Happy hatching :)

Ross,
It is great to have you back up and posting. Also, a belated happy birthday to you!
I, too value your no nonsense sage advice. As others have said, you are an integral member and VIP! I can only imagine how difficult it can get at times being the 'administator'. We appreciate you.

Welcome back, happy birth/hatching day Ross! I'm sorry that you felt you had to take time out, this is a support group and we should all support each other despite differences in opinions. I am glad you are back. Thank you for all you do to keep this site up and running.

Ross,
The site wasn't the same without you -- welcome back! Happy hatching day and thank you for all your good advice on the site. It has helped me alot and I hope you continue to look after things around here.

Ross,

I am so glad to have you back. My surgery is March 17th and one of the things that is holding me together is knowing that if I have problems with my INR afterwards, that I will have you to ask for advice. Never doubt that you are saving lives on here - and I agree about the F and O keys - use them if you need to.

HAPPY HATCHING DAY!!!

Jeanne.

Oh I don't know, do you get nakie?

Well, ummmm, Ross - if I must get nekkid to make you come to my neck of the woods, I guess I must! LOL Thank goodness the old Ross has come back in full force and I agree with Bina - the F and the O key are perfect for you!!!! ;)

Ross this site has been invaluable to me, but especially you. I love your bottom line no BS attitude. I'm really not sure whether I would have made it through my son's last surgery with my sanity intact without you. Unfortunately, this site gets polarized by the warfarin debate. I think your opinion on this issue is valuable and comforting for people who have mechanical valves.
I'm glad you are still here with us!

Ross, there are a few thankless jobs where people feel like they get to yell at you, but heaven forbid you ever say anything back. I felt like that when I was teaching. I'm sure Dennis has felt it as a school board member. Policemen also experience it, at least in my neck of the woods. Obviously, website administrator is right up there with them. However, be assured that there are many people around here who "got your back" and if you suddenly go off on us, we'll understand. I promise that I'll try my best to not be your headache!

Welcome back.

Did you tell him that I'm everything that your mother ever warned you about?

We can wait for summer, then we can get naked and howl at the moon just to tick people off. :D Your not that much older then me, so we should be compatible.

Welcome back.

Amen Lisa. I recently got back from a school board meeting to find out that an individual had called and cussed out my wife because her son was allegedly refused "seconds" at lunch that day. The call was intended for me, but she apparently felt my wife was close enough in my absence. Thankfully this has been very rare in our little community.

Well Dennis, if you want to feel truly unappreciated, come to Katy where we have plenty of people who think that because they pay $2000 to $5000 in school taxes, they therefore own the schools!

Ross, when you aren't around we worry. I was concerned something was wrong, but I also knew that Henyslee, Karlynn, and Cooper keep in close contact with you. Some folks here choose to keep things private and not want to post on the forum, I thought maybe that was the case with you.

So glad to see you posting, I can think of a couple other keys you could use, such as U Ys, but I also have come to know that you are a very decent and respectible human being and you put alot of things aside rather than stoop to the lowliness of a few.

Folks need to chill and not take things so personal on the forum. Everyone's opinion is their own and not everyone is going to agree with it. I think the purpose of the forum is to offer all of us information and assistance. It's up to ourselves if we choose to follow it, research it, and discuss with family and physician.

The VR Family is a godsend for me, no one but the members here can truly appreciate what we all go through day to day with our health. No one but the members here can comfort each other in our own lowest moments when we face decisions we must make for our own well being, our own lives. We all have first hand experience and knowledge to share. What we share doesn't have to be accepted by anyone if they don't want it, but somewhere down the line, we are helping someone face the same trials and tribulations we faced. We are not medical experts, we don't profess to be experts, but we can share what works for us.

If you don't like what you read, don't read it, and then resist posting a response for flaming each other.

I echo the the thoughts that I am glad to have you back! You are very impartial here and a calming voice. BTW, did I tell you that I told McCarthy about this sight and that you were the moderator? He was very interested and was having his assistant check in on it. I loved him ... though his isn't doing my surgery.

That kind of disappoints me, but he showed my wife some of the things he was working on, one which included an artificial heart, his oblong repair ring while it was still on paper and not even a product, etc... I guess when you've done all that he has, it's time to step back and let some of the others create some fame for themselves. All I can say is, I'm damn glad he was around when I needed him.

Ross,

Recently I had a discussion with some aquaintances about internet friends and they all said its impossible to be friends with people that have only met via a computer. I tried to explain how important a site like V.R. is, and that I will always consider the many people here as friends, and unless a person is in the position we have all been in, it is very hard to understand the connection we all have. And on the very top of my list of internet friends is the one and only MR ROSS YOUNG thank you for being a friend

Mary

Ross has always been a true friend. I have known him for over 25 yrs. He is an honest person and tells things the way they are. It is good to have a friend to go back & forth with wether it's bitching to each other or laughing. Latley I have had to respect his opinion even more because of what we have all been through.

Happy hatching day? You never told me. My nickname was bird (for my bird ankles) before it got changed to tbone. I always got teased that I was hatched. LOL

Let me know when you want to go out oto eat for your birthday (hatchling day)

Terrence E. McNulty
