Hmm, I have no idea where his office is. I go to the Cardio clinic at the Yawkey center.

Chances are Dr. Akins' office is in the Cox Building of MGH on the sixth floor.

I'm curious...... Do you happen to know if there is a cardiologist, Dr. Tom Wang, in the Cardio Clinic? I met him four years ago at the time of my first OHS and thought very highly of him.

I met my surgeon once 2 weeks before the surgery, when we picked a date.

He apparently came in to ICU when I was struggling with getting off the vent, but they had put me down hard and I don't remember it.

Never saw him again, although I've traded emails with him a few times, and he shows up on the University's "Grand Rounds" show on our local cable.

He's the chair of cardiothoracic surgery and is now doing a lot of heart transplants. He's a pretty busy guy, but he was the best in town and I decided to give up a little bedside manner just have him doing the cutting.
