Wow Rossman...you are one cool dude there up on that plane striking a pose!

That's from back in the day when I lived at the airport. They got tired of me hanging around and put me to work cleaning aircraft for sale. The perk with that plane is I got to go to an airshow with it that day and had one of the better times of my life. I did anything to save money for flight lessons, but being 14-15 at the time, no one wanted to talk to me about a job. The cleaning job fell through a few weeks later when the salesmans insurance company got wind when of it. :(

This is me and the love of my life on July 1, 1955. It's now over 53 years later and we still have it going on.

1980 - college graduation photo. My hair was naturally that blond, but Glenn's Mom never believed it was.

Okay, I'll bite!! This is a cute thread. That wedding picture was sooooo sweet!!! And you long-haired dudes!!! Awesome!! Wayne!!!! :D

I know what you mean about non-believers, Karlynn, especially when all the photos end up with dark looking roots for some reason. All anyone had to do was look at my white eyelashes and eyebrows. Hair has darkened some, now the silver grey is welcome as it is lightening things back up!!

So here I am at age 13 in 1968 in a passport photo. All east coast and innocent. Groovy glasses, huh??? ( Hey Danny!!! This was when I moved to Saipan!)

I found another photo from the later 70's after I'd moved to the west coast and been exposed to other influences!! Not sure if I can put 2 photos on at once anymore, so I'll add another reply.

Fun, Bonzo!! C'mon everyone! Let's have a look into your past! ;)

Seems like I came into the hippie mode abit later in life!! This from 1976 a season after I'd graduated from college. I wish I still had that blouse and the dangling earrings which you cannot see. My daughter would love them!!! Who knew!!

Harry - too bad you are far away- I wouldnt mind a Hammer Studio
marathon.
And the pictures are adorable.
Ross-good pic. My grandfather had a plane just like that one,he
used to let me take the controls once airborne:eek:. Then he
got a WWII plane and put my name on it...I was an only child
for 16 years:p

Marguerite - I don't think I would have guessed both those pictures were you. Love them both.

I was thinking of some of the neat threads Simon used to start and have really enjoyed looking at this thread (even tho some pics are missing) Thanks Bonzo for all the interesting threads you started, just one of the things I miss.

Lyn, thanks for the reminder of Bonzo. I missed this thread the first time around and find the pictures reminiscent of good times gone by.
