I'm getting a new valve for my birthday!

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been on in a week or so because I was waiting to hear my doctor. I saw the surgeon today and my surgery is scheduled for Sept 11. Soon. I think that might be less time to dwell on it! I have chosen a bioprosthetic valve since the thought of taking a life long blood thinner just doesn't feel right to me - I have too many other health issues to worry about with out adding that to the mix! So, keep me in your prayers!

oh, what a shame ! I have my valversary almost 6 months from my birthday, so I get to eat cake twice in a year; maybe you can eat 2 pieces on the same day next year!
