Thanks everyone

Thanks everyone

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers
Well, we did't have the MRI report, so they just went by his stress test and how he looks/sounds and that much was good. Well his stress test showed mild decreased HR, oxygen comsumption, decreased aerobic and physical capacities, and blunted rise in Heart rate, BUT for Justin that's all pretty normal. SOO as long as the MRI is ok we are fine for a year. I'm guardly happy, last year all was good, see you in a year, but then when the echo/MRI reports came, he needed surgery, so until I hear and read the MRI is good, I'm a tad nervous.
Now the Tattoo was a BIG hit. His cardilologist just cracked up when Justin took off his shirt and the PA said it was "very Justin"
Lyn
ps does anyone have a link for normal stress test results?

Lyn and Justin,
Heres extra good positive thoughts and prayers for your reports

Guarded optimism is good. Ik now you are so glad that is behind you, except for that one wee little report.......;) I just know it is good news. It is about time Justin caught a break. sorry I can't help with the stress link, but I'm sure someone can. Much love. J.

Good news, Lyn. I will keep my fingers crossed for the MRI and a one year break for Justin.

I have been hoping/praying for a good report. This is good news (so far). Give him a hug for us.

Tried to get in yesterday to post but my dialup is so slow these days that I wasn't able to, but was thinking of you.

glad to read the good news. will keep my fingers crossed for a good mri report to come in soon!

Lyn,

I'm really glad to hear Justin's good news. It sounds like so far so good. I hope all comes out well with the MRI.

pretty good MRI,

pretty good MRI,

for Justin this is good, good enough to get our year off :)

Cardiac MRI July 15, 2008 at HUP: This study was compared to one of January 3, 2007. The left heart was normal. The proximal aspect of the Rastelli conduit had increased in size from 13 x 26 mm to 20 x 33 mm. The distal conduit was unchanged. The size of the right ventricle had decreased, and there was less ventricular septal bounce, suggesting lower right ventricular pressures. Right ventricular volume had decreased from 311 cc to 235 cc (114 cc/m2 - mildly dilated). Right ventricular systolic function was moderately reduced at 33% (normal 50%). There was no significant pressure gradient in either outflow tract, and no significant regurgitation of any valve.

Lovely news!!

I'm so so glad to read this Lyn. I especially like the part of the suggestion of lowered right ventricular systolic pressure which means less pressure for his lungs. I hope this is a great year for your family....and then the next year too.

Awesome news, Lyn!

Tell Justin, "Congrats" for me ;).
