Okay, Cooker. Calm down. Remember your 35 points? Can't you use those toward your the points consumed during your force feed?

I used some of my 35 weekly points for a slice of Key Lime Pie at Longhorns. That was heavenly!!

Does Prune Juice have a WW point value? :p

SuperBob comes through again:D :D ....Hey Ref.....it is my understanding that all foods and "drinks" are allowable under the WW plan, as long said WW member stays within his/her points......I think it is time to revisit the Prune Juice ban:D :p

Good Grief! My work is never done when it comes to prune juice issues!

A half cup of prune juice is 2 points; a cup of Sunsweet prune juice is 3.
I don't know why it's not doubled, but I just read the rules not make 'em!:p :p

Ok, Chimpman. Go for the prune juice if you want. Just make sure you keep track of the points.

And yes, go ahead and eat your Snickers and use up your 35 points.

I'm sure it will help buy me a little breathing room in this week's weight loss race.  ;)

LOL....unfortunatley fruit juices are high in points:mad: ....I love the dried fruit and nut mixtures but again...high in points:mad: ....Now as far as breathing room, fat chance:p ....I did have 3 KrispyCreme:) (one glazed and 2 lemon filled) donuts at church today but I had a nice fruit salad for lunch and am planning on a big veggie salad for dinner....I need to drop as many as I can before vacation.....

I plan on embracing the Amish food with open arms....If any of you losers out there have a favorite Amish dish I will be glad to consume it in your honor:p

I am sure those salads will cancel out those Krispy Kremes. In fact, if you work three more salads into the day, you can have three more Krispy Kremes. :p :p

Superbob had a huge strawberry muffin at the coffeehouse after church. Positively no guilt. :)

I personally think church attendance should cancel all Sunday points/calories:D :D :D

You guys are creative geniuses when it comes to calorie intake/calorie reduction matters. :p

I actually stayed completely away from the coffee cake table at church today!!

I'm feeling more "on task" these days than in the past. Now I have to go drink my water. The toilet seat ring will be imprinted on my posterior by about 7 pm. (I know TMI - too much information!)

I know what ya mean....Especially today...watching the masters.....I need a funnel in a hose with a bucket (beats a catheter:D) .....Don't think Mrs Chimp will put up with that though:rolleyes:

Oh, crap! I did it to myself again. After doing very well for the past two weeks, I had a total pig-out weekend and blew all the progress I've made. This morning I was up 3 lbs.

Another family event was the culprit. We had a baby shower for the daughter-in-law and our future grand daughter which brought all the kids and their spouses home for the weekend. That means food is at the center of all events.

Jack - those family events will throw a wrench in your good work every time! But it's just a few days - you'll be able to get back on track quickly.

Whatever I'm doing must be working. I'm working out on my Total Trainer about 5 days a week (this is not to be confused with Superbob's personal trainer.) and I've been low-carbing for about a week and a half.

I'm still afraid to get on the scale. I feel a tiny bit like my body is remodeling a bit - but I don't know if it's just wishful thinking.

My clue that it may be starting to work is that I've had to increase my Coumadin dose 2 weeks in a row now. My INR was a bit low last Sunday, so I increase it 5% and when I tested yesterday it was still the same, so I increase it by 10% now.

I won't be able to avoid the scales for long as I have my annual echo and 6 mo. check with my cardio on thursday.:(

Food and family gatherings go together....Recovery is a run away....and maybe a few salads....you can do it:D

Hey Karlynn, Superbob says it sounds like you're doing great with your trainer, and to each his or her own on preference of trainer type. :p ;)

Superbob adds his best wishes for a good cardio visit and report Thursday. :) Do let us know how it goes.

Well....let me go out to my car and get my box of medals:D ;) :p ...My INR on the other hand was 4.5.....evedence I've been sitting on my fat ass:eek:

Get on the scales....sounds to me like you will be pleasantly suprised :)

I tried to read the whole thread but people kept talking about Snickers bars!!! How cruel!

I am a half pound lower than I was before my trip to Mexico the first week of April. (As of Friday...sorry for the delay...busy planning the next trip. I'll be gone again this Friday but should be able to weigh in Saturday night or Sunday morning.)

So:

Starting weight: 179
Last week: 149
This week: 145
Loss this week: -4
Total loss: -34

For those of you who remember, my 17 year-old daughter is "throwing down" too. She's down a whopping 47 pounds (from 186 to 139 at 5' 8")! We bought her a prom dress and a graduation dress this weekend; they were a size 8 and a size 6 respectively. She used to wear a 14! 3 pounds to goal for her!
