So....one pound down this week......kind of surprising because I wasn't eating very well, had batter fried fish one night with my brother, then steak the next, but I did walk/hike four times this week!
Great job, Susan! Just goes to show how much exercise can make up for! Now if I could just get my rear out the door... ;) Today (hopefully) will be a good day to start walking again. If the weather holds out.

Kind of quiet.....How you losers doing????......Some of you seem to have dropped off....Lets have a big weight loss push pre Easter dinner!!!!!

I'm here and getting ready to step on the scales.

If you hear a screech down in South Carolina, you'll know I'm having problems.;) ;)

It's Spring Break for me... Not doing as wall as I'd like. Our eating schedule is all outta whack. Yesterday we ate our lunch at three and our dinner at nine! Hopefully we'll get on track today. But I'm fairly certain we'll be eating out, since we'll be with family today AND tomorrow. Not sure this is going to be a good week for me. :( I've had good intentions though! Doesn't that count for something? ;)

SUPERBOB had a cranberry-orange muffin (that's right -- muffin, not scone) at Starbucks yesterday. Other than that (and one middle-of-the-night eating binge) he has been pretty good. The Man of Steel will get on those scales Friday, and he will NOT eat any chocolate Easter eggs -- only the real thing. Think I'll go hard-boil one right now for some extra protein. :)

Hopping down the bunny trail should work off some extra calories, too, right? :D

I haven't stepped on the scales since I weighed in upon returning home from France. I have been using my Total Trainer pretty religiously and the new Wii game we got really is a nice little cardio work out - particularly if I do boxing or cross-country skiing. I really have stopped focusing on weight loss and am just trying to eat healthy and get into better physical shape. I think I'm starting to see some body remodeling.

I have to start reading and posting again. If only to get my chuckle in reading Superbob refer to himself in the third person - it gets me every time - every time!!!

Niki, if your good intentions are as weak willed as my good intentions, it will definitely get us on the road to hell....!

After 6 1/2 years of teaching, I decided to make money, so this is my first year without a Spring Break. My husband took the week off and my kids are off, of course. I'm feeling really sorry for myself! So, when I got home yesterday and found the laundry and dishes piles just as high, and no dinner on the stove, I decided that going out to eat was the best option. The kids were busy, so it was actually just me and my husband. He wanted to go to this family owned restaurant that serves country cooking. There's not a lowfat thing on the menu, other than fresh tomatoes! So I splurged! I've been doing that a lot lately.

Ok!!! We have rallied some losers back into action!!!!....I have the original list and weights but I will not post those for fear of....well lets just say fear   ....Glad to see some of you back with us....I need you....I have been on thin ice and at my weight that can be a dangerous place to be :D ...I was actually pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale this morning....not down but not up either....I have fallen prey to Snicker bars and brownies.... the seduction of chocolate:cool:

Can you do one piece of chocolate a day. It's what I try to do I promise myself one piece of dark chocolate a day. Yes some days I actually have only one piece other days I struggle and have more. Don't give up you must keep at it. I don't participate but let me tell you I stuggle every single day with my weight. I had WLS five years ago and still stuggle on a daily basis. Just keep at it and I know easier said than done.

Sumo, I like the way you think!

Lisa - coming home from working to piles of laundry and dishes left by vacationing family automatically subtracts calories and fat from any restaurant you went to. At least I'm pretty sure it must!!!

Cooker - no way I could desert you - unless someone offers me dessert and I can't get to the computer.;) :D

Since I haven't been weighing, I need to find another thing to report.

Karlynn, SUPERBOB says he's glad to know he's good for a laugh. He may not be good for much else, but, hey, "laughter is the best medicine." :D :D :p

As far as I could see, you would have to make do with only a 2 pounder in dark chocolate, but it's more pure cocoa. Milk chocolate is bulked up with fillers like lecithin.

Tell the truth now, does size really matter? How many of those little toll house morsels get waylaid on their way to the mixing bowl and never make it into the cookies?

Milk Chocolate
Rules!!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D

So what are the "milk chocolate rules"? One 2 pound piece a day, so long as it is dark chocolate brimming with all sorts of health benefits? :p :p :p

And what about the "fudge brownie rules"? Have to consult Karlynn on that one, I reckon. :D
