Have to show this to Dick. He's starting a ground school class tonight- for the fun of it. He's always wanted me to learn to fly so I could pilot him around- not a chance.

It bears little resemblence to the little Cessna I soloed in.

Oh Phyllis, That is the first true love of my life. I never completed my last 8 hours of solo time to get my private certificate due to having babies and buying diapers. I'd give almost anything to be able to fly again. I miss it so much.

Guess I'll have to find my log book and pack it!
I was only 16 . . . couldn't get my private pilot's cert until I turned 17 . . . and was too distracted by the boys to sit around and wait.
I have a funny story about my solo flight, but I'll wait and share it in person.
