Nephew needs prayer

Happy New to all of the VR family.

My nephew needs prayer. Tomorrow he Will have a 10 to 16 hour surgery. He has Testicular cancer which has traveled to his neck, behind his lung and heart, and to a vein leading to one Kidney. He will be loosing one Kidney for sure and it could be both.

My niece and him have only be married for 3 years, he is 35 years old and has two children, a boy 11 and a girl 25.

My Nephew's name is Gabe. He did have a consult ion with Lance Armstrong's Doctor in Portland, but is having his surgery in Seattle.

Thoughts and prayers for Gabe and all of you. I lost my brother-in-law to testicular cancer when he was only 28 and he and my sister had three children under the age of 5, but that was over 50 years ago and they did not have the medical miracles that they have now. I hope that he will have the same outcome as Lance Armstrong and many more years with his beautiful family.

This is such a wonderful site. I rarely write or answer other posts, but when I ask for help it is always there. I check VR every day and follow what happens to everyone. Have never been a person to write, my sister laughs at me all the time because if she shows up on messenger I tell her to hold on and I will call her. She's in North Carolina and I am in California.

Just had to let you know how I appreciate VR and all of it's caring and thoughful family.

I just talked to me niece and she sounded pretty upset but is hanging in there. Gabe said he is going to have the biggest New Year's Eve hangover he has ever had.
