Thanks to all!

John's last day at work is today (Tuesday). This is exam week at the county college he works at, so his co-workers are having to pick up the slack with exams, getting final grades in by Friday, etc.

He said he slept very good last night -- and he's not taking anything, not even Tylenol Extra Strength PM.

He's getting his hair cut this afternoon -- I suggested he do so, even though it's only been 3 weeks since the last one. While I was judging a cat show in the Seattle, Wash., area this past weekend, he checked our blood pressure gadget, got some more batteries for it, etc.

Either I or my sister Cathy will post to the list about John's surgery.

Let us know what was more nerve-wrecking - having the surgery or waiting for a loved one.

I've found the whole thing to be nerve-wracking -- because I keep remembering how crummy I felt just 4 years ago with my own mitral valve quickly deteriorating. Too much dejavu, I guess.
