Marsha's husband John will have his surgery on Thursday. Hoping for a repair and sending best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery. Godspeed!

Marsha - please tell John that he will be in my prayers on Thursday. And you will be too! I look forward to reading the good news of his successful surgery.

Golly Marsha,
This really will be a stressful week for your entire family. I am sure John will do well, and I hope he is able to have the repair.
Best wishes, many prayers, and let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
Mary

Wishing your husband a successfull surgery and hoping for a repair. May is a nice month for recovery - not too cold and not too hot for walking outside.
Let us know what was more nerve-wrecking - having the surgery or waiting for a loved one.
All the best to both of you!

Thanks to all!

John's last day at work is today (Tuesday). This is exam week at the county college he works at, so his co-workers are having to pick up the slack with exams, getting final grades in by Friday, etc. :D

He said he slept very good last night -- and he's not taking anything, not even Tylenol Extra Strength PM.

He's getting his hair cut this afternoon -- I suggested he do so, even though it's only been 3 weeks since the last one. While I was judging a cat show in the Seattle, Wash., area this past weekend, he checked our blood pressure gadget, got some more batteries for it, etc.

Either I or my sister Cathy will post to the list about John's surgery.

I've found the whole thing to be nerve-wracking -- because I keep remembering how crummy I felt just 4 years ago with my own mitral valve quickly deteriorating. Too much dejavu, I guess. ;)

Marsha,

Thoughts/prayers are coming to John (and you, of course) for a SUCCESSFUL surgery!

GOOD LUCK :).

I will be praying for John (and you too Marsha) that all goes smoothly and John has a fast recovery.

Godspeed.

Ready, set, go

Ready, set, go

Hope all went nice and quiet today and you're ready to get things "fixed" tomorrow. I am wishing you both a comfortable, noneventful surgery. My son Scott is having his done on Friday. You are NOT alone. God Bless you both. I'll keep him in my thoughts,

Hoping to hear that a repair was done. Holding positive thoughts for both of you. Kathleen
