Greetings, all.
I have an idea.
(Of course I've also had half a bottle of wine tonight, but that's beside the point...)
TOOTS seems to be going over quite well. The photographs that are being posted are both entertaining and inspiring.
The demand for Tawdry Shirts continues to outstrip the supply of same.
Considering this, considering the fact that it takes actual real cash dollars to keep this site running, and considering the fact that at least once in a while we all scratch our heads wondering what day it is...
WHAT IF...
What if we put together a CALENDAR? The "VR.com Official Order of the Tawdry Shirt Calendar."
Each month could be accompanied by a photograph of a recent TOOTS member... Ms. January, Mr. February, etc., etc., along with the basics of that person's diagnosis and surgical procedure.
We could either put together one calendar a year, or make it one every six months, depending on how many willing victims, er... I mean "participants..." would make their photographs available.
I could do the layout, and Kinko's could do the printing, which I think is pretty cheap.
If there's any interest, I'd ask for a volunteer from the audience to check with Kinko's and find out how much it woulsd cost to print a calendar with 12 colour photographs. Once we get that number, we can decide on a selling price, and the balance goes to the VR.com Treasury, if there is such a thing.

ps- As I type this I'm thinking that there might be a market for this beyond just the VR.com membership... I think the SURGEONS and even cardiologists might want to have a calendar featuring one (or more) of their patients.
