Today, Friday the 13th is my 6 month anniversary!!!! To update you all, I've lost 65 pounds, workout 3 times a week, and have energy left at the end of the day. My wife has found one negative thing about my new valve, I can't sit still and she keeps saying "Robert, sit down for just 5 mins.!!!"

I've also been using my valve for the Lord! I've had several opportunities to speak at church, and I went to the hospital last saturday and visited with people in the heart and lung unit.

I hope & pray life is finding you well!!!

congratulations, Robert

congratulations, Robert

65 pounds!!! That's wonderful!!!

Did you ever think your experience would lead you into a ministry of speaking and visiting the sick? God does use what we consider bad experiences and turns them into good.

How about sending some of that surplus energy this way??:D :D :D

Congratulations, Robert and best wishes for many more years of the good life and helping others!

:) good for you Robert.. You have taken your experience and blessed others!

Sounds like you are certainly on the right track of recovery!

That's excellent, man.. Sounds like you're doing superbly. I've also lost weight and am keeping it off, at least so far. Those 3x a week cardiac rehab sessions sure help in that regard and I do feel stronger. Again, great job there and it's good also that you share your experiences with others.

Love your story and that you've had such a wonderful experience. May the Lord continue to bless you brother.

Way to go Robert. My pastor just talked about Joseph and how his brothers (who had sold him into slavery) were afraid he would take revenge on them after their father died. Instead he said one of the most insightful things in the Bible. He said to his brothers, what you meant for evil God meant for good. It reminds me that even in our most dire times God is in control and can turn bad things to good. You're attitude to take what has happened and use it to help others is very commendable. God bless you,

Randy
