Hello from Puerto Rico

Hello from Puerto Rico

We have gone swiming here the last 2 days. This is definately a place I like to go to! I wish they could home deliver some of this to New Mexico.

I have wanted, all my life, to go to Ireland. However, I don't really want my wish to come true because then I would have to find another wish.

I told my dear Joe I had always wanted a picket fence. Well, guess what. He fulfilled my wish and I was grateful; it was beautiful. Then I had to find a new 'wanted all my life' thing. At my age, I guess I am just thankful for all that I have today.

however, right now I just wish this dang laptop would type right!

I want to go back to Rome to the Bar Brazile deli just across from the Wedding Cake monument (the monument to Vittorio Emmanuel). They have the BEST fruit salad you have ever ever tasted! My friend next door is now in Italy and will be spending 5 days in Rome. She is under strict instruction to go get a fruit salad.
Here's Shelby partaking of the food of the gods! This was way to long ago. Derek and Shelby were 17 and 15, now they're 22 and 20.

Ann, Ireland is on my list too. I would like to visit some of the pubs and listen to the music and laughter and just drink in the atmosphere. There is an Irish pub down in Charleston, SC. that we are very fond of and absolutely love the Irish ballads.

Ross, I think I would pass on the hamburger but it sure would be nice to be able to eat and drink anything I would like for a few days without a care in the world about fluid, salt, INRs, fats or what have you. I have a friend who is 87 and is still working part-time and has short bleached blond spiked hair. She exercises everyday and is always dressed to the nines. At 87 she remains very conscience of her figure. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. When is it time to just let go? Pardon my rambling! Another place I would like to go is Maine.

Cort...... no...... no doubt about your choice !! :D :D :D

For me, it used to be anywhere in France or Italy. Now, however, with my 3 kids all gone out of state to college, I just want to be wherever they are!! I keep planning little trips around their locations. They are each in totally explorable areas. We love the good ol' US!

I would definitely go back to Africa, too. (fat chance!) All those magnificent animals and the unspoiled terrain!! They are a wonder!

If they do Study Abroad, then you get the best of both worlds - being with your kids and going to Italy or France! :D

Our daughter may be teaching in France for a year starting fall of 07. You better believe I'm going to be making a trip there!

Okay, Cort. I'll bite..... Let's say you were given an all expenses paid ticket to anywhere outside the 50 United States......... where would you go?? ;) :D :D

Karlynn. YES!! Our daughter will be going abroad, we're hoping France. Her older brothers did not go (though the oldest, now in grad school, did the Greek Isles after graduation....we weren't invited!! Middle going into his senior year and could change his mind, but he's a very inspired art student and busy with his work) so she is our only hope! :D

I'm probably not going anywhere outside of the U.S., but if I were it would be to England. I'm a broken record; that's always my answer to this question. Went once, I loved it. I'm not into nature and such, I like cities and the hustle & bustle and FOOD. In the U.S., I'd like to meet more of you guys and also Cindy LOVES the beach, like Myrtle Beach.

My husband and I always said that when we retired we would travel every state in the United States and just stop in whatever town we wanted to that looked interesting. Now we are 3 years away from retirement and we probably won't be able to afford the gas for such a trip. So, I guess we will have to pick another dream for our retirement.

Hey ROSS ..I've been there!! :)
My step sister lives down the road from there!!
Wow wee it is a small world.!

I want to go to So many places.. I wouldn't know where to start:) Loved New Zealand would love to return, Hope to get to England this spring, Would enjoy a cross America road trip..

After getting to Cleveland this past weekend it made me realize how much I miss it.

What great people live in Ohio!

Well, I would like to join Ann and Betty and go to Ireland! I would also love to go back to China and also visit Australia (my sister lives there and I have never been "down").

I would settle, however, for just being able to go anywhere and be able to enjoy it and not worry about angina or being SOB etc.,

In the US I would love

In the US I would love

to see Savannah, GA (so we can eat at The Lady & Sons restaurant owned by Paula Dean AND to see the beautiful southern mansions) and abroad, Paris and London.

I would also love to see the Middle East but that ain't gonna happen in THIS life!! :(

Of course, I am most wanting to visit China. :D ;)
