So I have my son’s umbilical cord blood banked. I’m now in heart failure and hoping if I have any “permanent” damage after my next surgery that it’s possible to use his stem cells to treat any heart damage. There’s some good clinical trials out there for this, but no actual approved treatment I’m aware of. Does anyone have experience with stem cell therapy to reverse heart failure damage? Specifically my left ventricle is moderately dilated. I need to find a clinic willing to use my son’s cord blood to treat my heart.
