Dear VR.com
The above kindly sent a message to me on my private yahoo address - which I promptly lost prior to replying. I sent a PM to him but I believe he does not check these. Will you please forward this message to him and ask him to PM me or resend the message to my yahoo address if he still has it so I can get his private email address again.
thank you
Darren McClelland

I tried, Darren - but he does not accept e-mails, according to his profile. The only way to reach him is via PM or if he comes in to check the threads. I think members are notified if they get a PM. Is that right, Ross?

I never got a reply either. His mail did not get returned though. I guess that doesn't mean much now a days with everyone running spam controls.

Hello all,
After much absence from the site, I am pleased to report that I am still here. In the meantime, I have changed jobs (after 25 years), moved house (also after 25 years), but I still have my new valve and my old wife.
Like so many of us who go through the 'life cycle" of valve replacement, we tend to "move" on after a while and put the whole experience behind us. However, I am very conscious of the tremendous support that I received from the older members over 4 years ago when I was going through my learning experience, so I will try to do likewise and be here to offer support and information if I can. Unfortunately, I am not able to be such an active member as I used to due to pressure of work.
So if I fall behind in any responses, please don't hesitate to give me prod and stir me out of my complacency.
I am still hopeful if we can get enough Australian members then Hank may decide to have one of his reunions Down Under. Or, he may give us the impramatur to have an official Aussie bash of our own. Any suggestion will be welcome.
Once again, best wishes to you all and it's great to see that the site is still going so strongly. Keep up the good work Hank.
Gerry
