To all my friends who have been wondering how I am doing. I have achieved the goal I set for myself when I was released from intensive care at the Cleveland Clinic. My new donated heart valve is working so well I was able to complete the Air Force Marathon on September 18th and still have enough stamina left to run The Dayton River Corridor ½ Marathon a week later.

It was a long road to recovery with some bumps along the way. I am now stronger and as physically fit as I have ever been in 61 years! Thanks to all of you for the encouragement I received during my recovery.
