need help with "view new posts"

hi all, hank and anyone else who might be able to help,
i used to log on and go right to "view new posts" so that i could read all the new posts since my last visit.
this is a wonderful feature.
since yesterday, however, whenever i click on that, i get a message bulletin saying that there are no matches and would i please try something new.
is anyone else having this problem? could i have pressed some odd setting on my computer to eliminate that option?

Stupid question #1-Have you maybe clicked on "mark all forums as read" and then inadvertently tried to view new posts? If not, I would suggest getting rid of your forum cookie and then relog in and get a new one and see if you have the same result. ;)

For future reference, if anyone is using AOL to browse the board and they run into this problem, it is most likely AOL's proxy. Try using Internet Explorer or Netscape and see if the issue resolves. ;)

I also had that same problem this morning. Tonight when I logged on......no problem! I hope whatever it was is now solved!
