Just a note to let everyone know that it pays to be persistant if your insurance company denies you Cardiac Rehab. I was initially denied coverage for Cardiac Rehab. Thanks to the encouragement I found here, I decided not to take no for an answer without making a stab at getting them to change their minds. I filed an appeal using much of the wording that BillCobit used with his insurance company. Thank you Bill. After about 6 weeks, BCBS got in touch with the director at Cardiac Rehab where I had orginally been denied treatment and said we've made a mistake. Cardiac Rehab is covered for valve replacement. I would have never even questioned their decision not to cover me if it weren't for this site. Thanks so much. I hope this will encourage others who are having difficulty. :D
