Ross. This is a perfectly lovely thing you have done........ It is so important that we remember these members of "our family".

Thank you.

Marguerite

Your welcome. I kicked this idea around for a long time. Others expressed interest in it and I feel that we owe those departed members some respect and to remember them. I finally took it to Hank about 2 weeks ago for approval. It's not exactly like I'd like to have it, but it's the only way to create it without it making the forum page mega long.

If anyone has any contact with Bess, Englanders wife, please let me know. I'm trying very hard to contact the families of these folks so they can add what they'd like. Most of my mails have been returned as closed accounts. :(

Yup - great idea and although sad, it reminds us how lucky we are to have come through. It also serves to remind us that there's nothing routine about cutting a heart, even though we sometimes sound like we think so.

I think of these people often and of their families. Wonderful idea Ross. Let us hope and pray that no one else is added to the list already created.

If I've missed anyone, please let me know. It sure wasn't intentional. Bear in mind, I'm working from my own memory which isn't all that great. Also, if anyone here has any information or addresses for the families of these folks, please either let me know or contact them and let them know that the forum has been opened and that their input is needed if they desire to place anything in there.

Thanks

Ross:

Like others have said, thanks for adding this feature.
It will help newer members here, when they read a reference to one of these people, to better know someone who has gone on, albeit too prematurely.

A person needs a place to express one's grief at the loss of one who was part of your life. It is nice to know that their memory is still around on these forums where we knew them.

Don't go thanking me. It's just the right thing to do in rememberance of them and for their families. ;) It also serves as a reminder that we are not bullet proof.

well, if not you, then who? Course, I also know Hank was involved, too, as always. Thanks to both of you. For taking the time to remember.

All of us need to remember those lives that have touched us; became a part of us for awhile; are still a part of VR.
