Hi Ross - tried to imbed an image from my hard disk last night but failed.
I used two different syntaxes:
F:\Temp\MedicAlert.jpg
and
file:///F:/Temp/MedicAlert.jpg
Both of which failed to do anything.
I also tried the jpeg file as an attachment, but nothing seemed to happen.
Maybe I've misunderstood how this is supposed to work...
Help

I order to use an image on YOUR hard drive, use the manage attachments button below your reply box. It may be a sizing issue of the picture and won't allow it to attach. Now, if you use the IMG tags such as you have here, upload the image to an outside server such as photobucket.com, Get the link to the image and then post the IMG-Link-IMG tag deal, then it will display and size won't be an issue. If you keep having problems or I'm not explaining this clearly enough, let me know and I'll try to work with you on it. ;)

Ross - yes, my image was too large - not sure why it didn't say that yesterday, maybe I missed the message. Max image size allowed is 400x300. I also initially had a message saying my image was invalid - saved again with progressive scan on and that went away to be replaced with the size message.
Have now bunged it on my own site as 400x 300 wouldn't have been enough for the detail I wanted

In an event like that, that is where an outside image hosting service would come into play. I use www.photobucket.com , but you can do a search on google for free image hosting and find one near you, I'm sure.
